Good To Know
How long does the Nile cruise last?+
The classic Nile cruise sails the Luxor–Aswan route in three durations: 3 nights / 4 days (Aswan to Luxor), 4 nights / 5 days (Luxor to Aswan), and 7 nights / 8 days round-trip. Choose the length that best fits your Egypt itinerary; longer cruises include more temples and a more relaxed pace.
What sights are visited on the cruise?+
Depending on the direction, you visit Karnak and Luxor Temples, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Edfu Temple (Horus), Kom Ombo Temple (Sobek), Philae Temple in Aswan, the Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Your expert Egyptologist guide accompanies every sightseeing stop.
Are meals and drinks included?+
All cruises include breakfast, lunch and dinner served buffet-style with international and Egyptian dishes. Coffee, tea and water are provided at meals. Soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and juices outside meals are available at an extra charge; drink packages can be pre-arranged.
What are the cabins like?+
Cabins are outside-facing with large panoramic windows, air-conditioning, a private bathroom with shower, satellite TV, mini-fridge, safe and internal telephone. Main- and upper-deck cabins open onto a private balcony. Suites are available on request for more space.
When is the best time to cruise the Nile?+
The most comfortable months are October to April, with warm days and cool evenings. May to September is hotter but quieter and better priced, and sightseeing is scheduled early morning and late afternoon to avoid the midday heat. Cruises operate year-round.
Can the cruise be combined with a Cairo tour or a beach stay?+
Yes. Most guests pair the cruise with a few days in Cairo (Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo) and optional extensions to Abu Simbel or a Red Sea beach stay. Contact us and we will build a complete private itinerary around your preferred cruise dates.
