  1. Day 1: Luxor East & West Bank
Begin Your Nile Cruise Adventure Upon arrival in Luxor, meet your private Egyptologist and transfer to your Nile Cruise for embarkation. Depending on your arrival and cruise schedule, begin sightseeing in Luxor Karnak Temple Discover Karnak Temple, one of the largest and most impressive religious complexes ever constructed. Karnak was developed over many centuries and contains a vast collection of temples, chapels, pylons, columns and sacred spaces. One of its most spectacular areas is the Great Hypostyle Hall, where enormous columns create an unforgettable architectural landscape. Your Egyptologist guide will explain the religious significance of the complex and its connection to the ancient city of Thebes. Check in to your 5-star Nile Cruise. Luxor Temple Beautifully illuminated at night, Luxor Temple was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship. Connected to Karnak by the ancient Avenue of Sphinxes, it remains one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Luxor Temple one of the most atmospheric monuments in Luxor. The temple is particularly impressive in the evening when its monumental columns and statues are illuminated. 2. Day 2: Luxor West Bank
Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Colossi of Memnon Very early breakfast, explore the legendary West Bank of Luxor, so will visit the West Bank, we may take a motor boat to save time Valley of the Kings The Valley of the Kings is one of the world's most famous archaeological sites. Hidden among the desert cliffs on Luxor's West Bank, the valley became the burial ground for numerous New Kingdom pharaohs. Around 70 tombs were created in the area, many decorated with colorful scenes, inscriptions and religious texts designed to guide the deceased ruler into the afterlife. Among the best-known tombs are those associated with Ramesses III and Tutankhamun. Your guide will explain the ancient Egyptian beliefs surrounding death, burial and the journey into the afterlife. Entrance fees are not included. Temple of Hatshepsut Continue to the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Built into the dramatic cliffs of Luxor's West Bank, the temple is one of Egypt's most distinctive monuments. Hatshepsut was one of the most remarkable rulers in ancient Egyptian history and one of the few women to rule Egypt as pharaoh. The temple's terraces, colonnades and monumental setting make it one of the highlights of any visit to Luxor. Colossi of Memnon Finish the West Bank tour at the enormous Colossi of Memnon. These gigantic statues once stood at the entrance to the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The surviving statues are approximately 59 feet high and have stood on the West Bank of Luxor for thousands of years. After sightseeing, return to the Nile Cruise. Then the guide will take you in a mysterious journey to land of secrets. Temple of Horus at Edfu Arrive at Edfu, where you will take a short horse-carriage ride to the Temple of Horus. The Temple of Horus is one of the best-preserved temples from ancient Egypt's later periods. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, the temple provides an extraordinary example of traditional Egyptian temple architecture. Explore its monumental entrance, courtyards, columns and beautifully preserved reliefs while your guide explains the mythology and religious traditions connected with Horus. After the visit, return to the ship and continue sailing toward Kom Ombo. Kom Ombo Temple Arrive at Kom Ombo, home to one of the most unusual temples along the Nile. Kom Ombo is a double temple, reflecting its dedication to two major deities. The complex was dedicated primarily to:
    • Sobek, the crocodile god
    • Horus, the falcon-headed god
The temple contains fascinating reliefs and architectural features that reveal the religious traditions of ancient Egypt during the Ptolemaic and Roman periods. After your visit, return to the ship and continue sailing toward Aswan. Overnight Nile Cruise Luxor to Aswan on FB

  4. Day 4: Aswan Highlights
High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & Optional Abu Simbel and Philae After breakfast, arrive in Aswan, the southern gateway to Egypt's Nile Valley. Today combines ancient monuments with one of modern Egypt's most important engineering achievements. Optional Abu Simbel Temple For travelers who want to experience one of Egypt's most spectacular monuments, an optional excursion to Abu Simbel is available. The Abu Simbel complex contains two monumental temples carved into the rock during the reign of Ramesses II. The Great Temple was dedicated to Ramesses II himself, while the smaller temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari. The enormous seated statues of Ramesses II at the entrance create one of the most unforgettable sights in Egypt. The complex is also famous for its connection with the Sun Festival, when sunlight traditionally reaches specific areas of the temple. Optional excursion. Entrance fees are not included. Return to Aswan and visit the Aswan High Dam. Aswan High Dam Completed as one of modern Egypt's most important infrastructure projects, the dam transformed the management of the Nile and helped protect communities from destructive flooding. The creation of Lake Nasser also led to a massive international effort to relocate and preserve ancient Nubian monuments. Unfinished Obelisk Continue to the ancient granite quarry to see the Unfinished Obelisk. Had it been completed, this enormous monument would have been one of the largest obelisks ever created. The unfinished stone provides an extraordinary opportunity to see evidence of ancient Egyptian stone-working techniques directly in the quarry. The monument is traditionally associated with the reign of Queen Hatshepsut. Optional Temple of Philae You can also add an optional visit to the beautiful Temple of Philae. The temple complex is dedicated primarily to Isis, the ancient Egyptian goddess associated with motherhood, magic and the protection of life. The temple's island setting makes it one of the most beautiful and atmospheric ancient monuments in Egypt. The story of Philae also connects ancient Egypt with modern archaeological preservation: the temple complex was relocated to protect it from the rising waters created by the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Before You Travel to Egypt

A quick checklist for a smoother arrival and more comfortable sightseeing.

Choose the season that suits you

October to April is usually more comfortable for long sightseeing days. Summer can be very hot, especially in Luxor and Aswan, so plan lighter schedules, shade and water breaks.

Check entry rules before you fly

Visa eligibility depends on your passport and can change. Confirm your requirements through Egypt’s official e-Visa portal or the nearest Egyptian embassy before travel.

Carry Egyptian Pounds

Cards are useful at many hotels and larger businesses, but small EGP notes are practical for tips, small purchases and everyday services.

Use sealed bottled water

Drink sealed bottled water and keep extra water with you during sightseeing, particularly on warm days and longer excursions.

Dress for heat and local customs

Light, breathable clothing, comfortable shoes, sun protection and a light layer are useful. Modest clothing is respectful at mosques, churches and traditional communities.

Know when to bargain

Friendly bargaining is common in bazaars and souks. Prices in fixed-price shops, hotels, restaurants and official ticket offices are generally not negotiated.

Check Egypt’s official e-Visa portal
