What is the best time of year to visit Egypt?+
October to April brings comfortable daytime temperatures for Cairo, Luxor and Aswan sightseeing. May to September is much hotter in Upper Egypt, so tours start earlier in the morning and Nile cruises stay popular thanks to the breeze on the water.
How many days do I need for an Egypt tour?+
A first visit covering Cairo, Giza and a Luxor–Aswan Nile cruise works well in 8 to 10 days. Shorter 4 to 5 day programmes focus on Cairo and the Pyramids, while 12+ days add Abu Simbel, Alexandria or the Red Sea.
Are your Egypt tours private or in a group?+
Our Egypt programmes run as private tours by default — your own Egyptologist guide, driver and vehicle — so the pace and daily timings are yours. Group departures can be arranged on request.
Are entrance fees and meals included?+
Every tour page lists exactly what is included and excluded. Entrance fees to the sites named in the itinerary, transfers and daily breakfast are normally included; optional extras such as the Great Pyramid interior, mummies rooms or Abu Simbel flights are shown separately.
Do I need a visa for Egypt?+
Most nationalities need a tourist visa, available as an e-Visa online or on arrival at Egyptian airports. We confirm the current requirement for your passport when you book and include arrival assistance at the airport.
How do I book and pay?+
